Install in three steps
- On your Mac, open the Mac App Store, search for TestFlight (by Apple), and install it.
- Open the Red Light Display beta link on the same Mac. It opens in TestFlight. The link will appear on this page when the beta opens.
- In TestFlight, click Accept, then Install. Open Red Light Display from Applications or from TestFlight.
Then start a 15-minute session, or press ⌥⌘R for the live red filter. Escape ends a session. Option-Command-Period restores display colors.

- Apple’s free TestFlight app for the beta
- Display Boost (Pro) needs an XDR display: MacBook Pro 14/16 Liquid Retina XDR or Pro Display XDR. On other displays it is hidden.

- Each TestFlight build expires 90 days after it is uploaded. TestFlight tells you when a newer build is ready.
