Your data and how it is used.

In the Mac app

There is no account, no HealthKit, no camera, no microphone, no location, and no contacts. Session history is stored locally on your Mac for every user — Free and Pro — and is not sent to us. Preferences use UserDefaults on the device. Apple processes Pro purchases and restores through the App Store. We do not receive your payment card details.

TestFlight beta

The v1 beta is distributed by Apple through TestFlight. Apple shares beta usage information with us, such as install and session counts and crash reports that include the device model and macOS version, plus any feedback or screenshots you choose to send from TestFlight. We use it only to fix and improve the app. Apple’s TestFlight terms and privacy policy apply to the TestFlight app. The Mac app itself still sends no session data to us.

Waitlist

If you join the launch list, we store your email address, signup time, and the version of the launch-email consent in Cloudflare D1 so we can tell you when Red Light Display is available. Signing up again with the same email does not create another entry. This data remains stored until it is removed; contact us to request deletion.

Website security and analytics

A Cloudflare Worker hosts the website. Turnstile checks launch-list submissions for abuse; verification sends your challenge response and IP address to Cloudflare. The website also uses your IP address to limit repeated requests.

Cloudflare Web Analytics collects website usage and performance information. The site does not add advertising cookies.

Children and privacy requests

The product is not directed at children under 13.
